2025 Art Prize Winners

The 2025 Adelaide Art Prize saw an increase in the number of artists and artworks selected  for the Finalists’ Exhibition shown at the iconic Adelaide Festival Centre.

This year we were pleased to increase the value of the category prizes from $2,000 to $2,500 each.

Other changes saw the inclusion of a category for Artists Living with a Disability.

Also included was a new Student category recognising Primary and Secondary school student entrants by equally splitting the Prize between them.

Technology innovation enabled the showing of a virtual online exhibition tour, giving us  global audience reach for the Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize 2025, the artists and their works.

Entries

In 2025 we received 320  entries from South Australian, interstate, and international artists.

The Exhibition

The exhibition featured 87 exceptional finalists of all ages who contributed 89 remarkable works.

Finalists’ works were presented to a wide community during a 4 week gallery exhibition at the iconic city venue of Adelaide Festival Centre from 2-29 April 2025.

The inclusion of a virtual online exhibition tour enabled viewing to be extended internationally, increasing exposure to the Art Prize 2025, the artists and their works.

The diversity of the five judges ensured the credibility and appeal within the artistic community.
