Statement:
An aerial view of a quiet corner the West Terrace Cemetery where it joins Park 23. I love the space, shapes and views that an aerial aspect delivers. The colours and the water aspect give a feeling of calm serenity for the choice of subject.I chose to use the a multi- layered resin/paint approach as I could add depth with each different layer of resin and paint added. The final work gives the viewer the feeling of looking down into the space as it has a surprising 3D feel. It is a piece that is best viewed up close to see the detail.
