ROSEMARY WARMINGTON AM
Rosemary Warmington AM is a South Australian practising visual artist. Her paintings are drenched in colour, influenced by the natural world. Rosemary has consistently exhibited with both solo and group exhibitions and has been shortlisted for a number of South Australian Art Prizes.
For many years Rosemary was the CEO of Carers SA, a not-for-profit organisation that provides services to family carers. In 2012, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her contribution to the community.
As both a practising artist and previous CEO in the community sector, Rosemary brings to the APA Art Prize a knowledge of the Adelaide art scene, her significant business and strategic expertise, and experience in working with the community.
Nataliya Dikovskaya
Nataliya has been Chair of the APA Art Prize from 2022 to 2024, leading the Art Prize 2023. She has demonstrated her firm commitment to the arts and the broader community that cherishes our beautiful Park Lands, and underscoring her belief in the profound impact of art on society.
Her passion for nurturing artists and elevating their vital contributions is expressed in a variety of ways including through her involvement with the ‘Contemporary Collectors’ at the Art Gallery of SA.
In her professional life as a senior financial adviser, Nataliya combines her expertise in finance with her love of art. The guidance she offers clients aims for financial success while encouraging philanthropic endeavours, particularly in the arts, enabling clients to pursue retirements that are both rewarding and socially beneficial.
Shane Sody
Shane Sody has been a member of APA since 2012 and President since 2017. His working career has involved four separate phases, spread over more than four decades: first as a radio news presenter, second as a political media adviser and researcher, before qualifying in a third career phase as a lawyer working in public service, and fourth as a local government policy advisor and administrator.
Retiring from paid employment in December 2019, Shane’s varied career experiences
have enabled him to lead the Adelaide Park Lands Association into a new era in the 2020s, with revamped branding in 2021, combined with a four-year strategic plan 2021-25 that has captured the imagination of thousands of South Australians, with just four words:
Love Your Park Lands.
Marina Ritchie
Marina has always been deeply passionate about art. As Head of Marketing and Communications for the Adelaide Parklands ArtPrize since 2022, with a rich and diverse background in marketing and project management, she brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic insight to the role.
Marina’s journey into the art world is fuelled by her love and appreciation for dance and all forms of artistic expression. Her extensive experience spans various sectors, including art, health, and events management, where she has successfully led numerous high-impact marketing campaigns and projects.
With Marina’s contribution, the Adelaide Parklands ArtPrize has seen a remarkable increase in community engagement and public awareness.
Sandra Lindemann
Sandra Lindemann has been a member of the Adelaide Park Lands Association (APA) since 2016, Secretary of the APA committee since 2020, and Secretary of the Art Prize committee since 2021. A freelance writer, researcher, and editor accredited by the Australian Institute of Professional Editors, Sandra’s qualifications include a professional writing diploma, Honours and Masters Degrees in Anthropology and a PhD in Life Narrative Studies.
She has written five biographies and two community histories, and has edited more than a dozen PhD theses. She is currently writing a biography of radical anthropologist, Kathleen Gough. Sandra also gives presentations on the Adelaide Park Lands to community organisations such as the University of the Third Age, where she enthusiastically promotes the Art Prize.
Jacquie Hunter
Jacqui Hunter is an environmental educator with a background in primary school teaching, community arts and permaculture. Her business, Hunter Gatherings, works in collaboration with a wide range of practitioners to create memorable events and resources that lead to participants’ deeper connection with the natural environment.
Her interest in the Adelaide Park Lands began when the Adelaide Aquatic Centre came under threat from a football club and she realised how vulnerable the Park Lands are to development. She has since led a number of projects in and around the Park Lands.
In 2023 Jacqui was co-curator of the APA Art Prize. This time she will focus on creating activities in the lead up to and during the Art Prize in 2025.

Julie-Anne Whitehead
Julie-Anne brings a wealth of experience to the Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize, encompassing roles as a practising visual artist, film scriptwriter, curator, and magazine editor. Her diverse background in the art world informs her creative and strategic approach to the Art Prize.
Passionate about community and environmental activism, Julie-Anne coordinates the My Tree Project, an initiative that empowers school students to combat climate change by planting trees and creating meaningful artworks. This project was recognised as South Australia’s Best Community Event in 2023.
In addition to her activism, Julie-Anne co-curated the APA Art Prize in 2023 and continues to play a pivotal role in its success, ensuring the event remains vibrant and impactful. Her dedication to art and community makes her an invaluable asset to the Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize.
Terri Moore
Terri Moore is a visual art teacher and practising artist who has curated a varied range of exhibitions, workshops, and art projects. Her experience as an educator spans working in Japan, China, and Korea, in addition to South Australian public and independent secondary schools.
Terri places a strong emphasis on developing inclusive visual arts programs while mentoring emerging artists/students to extend and exhibit their artwork. Her skills include seeking spaces, sponsorship, collaborating with artists, installing exhibitions, planning events and organising event openings.
She looks forward to creating strong links with the community and the Arts by providing environmental, inclusive, and social justice perspectives, as well as a hands-on approach, practical experience, and infectious energy to support the planning team and contributing artists.
Ebony McAdam
Ebony is extremely passionate about the arts, particularly film and visual arts. She is currently studying a master’s degree in Business (Art and Cultural Management) at Deakin University.
Ebony is excited to be a part of the Adelaide Parklands Art Prize Committee and to be involved in the event planning process. She hopes to use some of the skills she has learned through her studies as well as building on last year’s success to make the 2025 art prize a great event.
Ava Leitner
The Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize combines Ava’s love of nature, art and connection towards building stronger communities and she is excited to be a member of the team.
In the past she has worked with groups to facilitate exhibitions and run workshops and creative arts programs within community health and wellness programs. Seeing the uniqueness of creative expressions and responses is one of the rewards of this work and this is something she is looking forward to.
As an artist and regular Park Lands dog walker, Ava finds herself wondering what, of all the possibilities of creative responses to the richness and significance of the Adelaide Park Lands, will come forward in this exhibition. She loves the anticipation and journey as much as the destination.
Kamyar Fanaei
Mallory Stiley (Georgie)
Mallory received her Bachelor degree in the visual arts from the University of Washington and her Master of Education from the University of Southern Queensland. She has been in education since 2006 and has taught from the second grade to university level. As a teacher, she focuses not only on language, but also on research and communication.
In 2023, driven by her passion for art, Mallory enrolled in a Masters of Design: Contemporary Art at the University of South Australia, which is ongoing. She is a mixed media artist, incorporating a variety of techniques in her work.
She joined the APAArt Prize team in 2024, out of a desire to use her skills experience of various cultural backgrounds to help other artists, as well as to gain a better understanding of the arts in South Australia.
