I always admire the various native aspects throughout the Park Lands. I especially love the abundant birdlife which often gather in groups in the parks. My artwork was inspired by my love of cockatoos and some of the native plants found all throughout the Park Lands. They sit together, behind a clearing on the Hutt St edge of Tuthangga/Carriageway Park, with one enormous shared blanket of leaves, like they could be a scene from a picture book.
