Title: Past and Future Category: School Artist, Under 25 Dimensions (cm): 51h x 41w Medium: Acrylic On Canvas Statement: Before settlement, Fairy-wrens thrived on the land that is now the Adelaide Park Lands. These tiny birds disappeared after ground cover and shrubs were lost and predators like cats were introduced. The City of Adelaide Council is now working to improve areas of natural habitat in the Park Lands to bring back small woodland birds, like the Fairy-wrens.

Title: The Three Graces Category: Photography Dimensions (cm): 42h x 30w Medium: Photography Statement: The Three Graces - I'm interested in taking micro elements from nature and rearranging them so that the viewer can see them in a new context with wonder. As I was arranging this piece I was reminded of The Three Graces. The Three Graces goes back to mythology and represents three goddesses. The poet Hesiod describes the three goddesses: Agliaia (representing radiance), Euphrosyne (representing joy), and Thalia (representing flowering). Together, they constitute an ideal of beauty and grace.

The fruiting bodies are inspired by Reishi which are considered the mushroom of immortality and said to strengthen the heart, calm the spirit and replenish the energy of the body, mind and spirit. "

Title: Mark Kimber - Eventide 9 Category: Photography Dimensions (cm): 50h x 70w x 4d Medium: Pigment Print Statement: I feel that the most effective method for conveying the emotional resonance of places may just be to obscure vision and limit clarity, to hint, to use an almost peripheral vision - as if looked at straight on, the understanding represented by these landscapes would evaporate, leaving us only with the peaceful, perhaps even mundane present. It is my hope that the deep shadows and rich atmosphere that make these images not so easily read, also draws the viewer in, inviting imagination to project into places
